Sunstar Hot Tub covers

The Sunstar Hot Tub Cover takes the strength of Virgin Dura Foam cores with an R value of 14.3 and tapers the foam from 4" to 2.5" to allow accumulated water to easily run off. We then strengthen the channel hinge with 20 gauge galvanized steel and add a full length heat seal gasket (optional on all hinged covers) with the Antaeus 2000™ Vapor heat seal for the strongest heat seal in the industry.

Sunstar 2 Pound EPS Upgrade
For a minimal up charge you can add to the insulating factor of your spa cover with 2 lb. EPS foam giving you an even higher R value. This is a great option when concerned with the environment and rising energy costs.

Sunstar Atlas Hot Tub Cover
The Atlas hot tub cover is fitted with strong and durable marine grade vinyl constructed with 1500/hr tested UV and mildew inhibitors dramatically extending the life of the cover. The Atlas' foam tapers from 5" to 4" giving you an R value of 19.8. All of our hot tub and spa covers come standard with a low profile drain grommet and are ASTM and UL safety classified for your family’s protection.

Sunstar Atlas spa covers can hold up to 1,000 lbs of static weight, and are highly recommended for any location with harsh winter climates.

I picked up my new Sunstar spa cover on December 4th and wow am I pleased!

When I brought it home it fit perfectly! I live in North Bend and we get some extreme weather conditions including strong foothill winds. The Sunstar cover tie down straps have held our cover secure even in gusts over sixty miles per hour. We also have wide temperature swings with colds in the teens and heat this last summer over one hundred degrees.

It takes a good product to hold up year after year. We replaced our five year original cover only because our English Lab loves the cover too! Thank you for making such an outstanding product.

While many competitors use regrind in their foam cores to save them money during production, Sunstar uses only virgin foam cores to save you money and provide you a stronger, more durable, and more energy-efficient cover.

2. Antaeus 2000 Vapor Seal:  

Our exclusive, proprietary plastic is more effective than what other manufacturers typically use. Our specially formulated material reduces vapor transmission and still has the strength, flexibility, transparency, and sealability we require. Equally important is the perfect heat seal seam. Sunstar uses an impulse sealer that makes a perfect seam using the right combination of temperature, pressure, and timing. Unlike the less expensive hand-held sealing machines, all human variables are eliminated so your cover makes a perfect seal every time.
